King's College London Announces Management Changes, Effective August 2016

King’s College London announced that Sir Christopher Geidt has accepted the university’s invitation to serve as Chairman of its Governing Council, succeeding the Duke of Wellington in August 2016. Sir Christopher is an alumnus and Fellow of King’s. He graduated from the university in War Studies and later went on to study International Relations at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He was recently a Fisher Family Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Sir Christopher is the Private Secretary to HM The Queen, Patron of King’s. He joined the Royal Household in 2002 after a career in military and diplomatic service.

King's College London Signs A Memorandum of Intent with King Saud University

King's College London has signed a Memorandum of Intent (MOI) with King Saud University (KSU). Under the agreement, students from KSU will have the opportunity to travel to King's to undertake postgraduate study, and King's will support the development of these students as teaching assistants and graduate teaching assistants. The signing of the MOI at King's marks an important new collaboration in Saudi Arabia and builds academic ties in the region.

Ericsson Launches 5G Collaborations with King's College London and Technische Universitat Dresden

Ericsson has announced new collaborations with King's College London and Technische Universitat Dresden (TU Dresden). The collective efforts will focus on 5G research, addressing both the technical implications and the societal challenges of implementing the next-generation of communications technology. The collaborations with the two universities will build on other leading European research institute and university collaborations in the 5G sphere, such as those with the Royal Institute of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology and Lund University in Sweden.
