Gavin Pearson, a partner at forensic accounting firm HSNO, has been appointed as the new chair of the ICAEW's forensic accounting and expert witness special interest group. Pearson, formerly vice-chair of the group from 2011 until now, is an experienced forensic accountant and expert witness whose work includes contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, warranty disputes and fraud investigations. He became an HSNO partner in 2014, having previously been a partner at RSM Tenon and Baker Tilly.
