TU Delft and ABN AMRO to Collaborate on the Development of Blockchain Applications

TU Delft is set to collaborate with ABN AMRO on the development of more complex blockchain applications. The aim is to deliver a secure, working application in just six months. In addition to developing the application, ABN AMRO staff will also attend courses on blockchain applications in the TU Delft Blockchain Lab. The application will be based on previous work done at TU Delft on blockchain technology.

TU Delft Announces Board Changes

The Minister of Education, Culture and Science has appointed drs. G. (Gijsbert) de Zoeten RC as a member of TU Delft's Supervisory Board for a four-year term starting on 1 May 2016. Gijsbert de Zoeten succeeds Maarten Schnfeld, who is leaving the Board on this date at the end of his second and last term of appointment. He has held various financial management and board positions at Unilever, and in 2010 he was appointed CFO of Unilever Europe in Rotterdam. In addition to this, Gijsbert is a member of the governing board of the Registered Controller programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Gijsbert de Zoeten also succeeds Maarten Schnfeld as chair of the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board.
