Vodafone India announced sales results for the quarter ended December 2016. The company reported organic service revenue growth of 2.3% for the fiscal third quarter. The quarterly growth rate slowed due to further competitive pressure, impacting both voice and data prices and data customer growth. Excluding the impact of regulatory changes, including MTR cuts, roaming price caps and an increase in service tax, service revenue grew by 7.6%. Reported revenues slightly increased by 0.5% in the three months to December 2015 from a year earlier to GBP 1.1 billion.
