Hull City Council Signs £80 Million 'Extra Care' Contract with The Riverside Group Ltd

Hull City Council has formally signed contracts with The Riverside Group Ltd. to deliver three vibrant new communities of housing for people in need of additional support to remain in their homes. The council and Riverside are celebrating the successful start of this major £80 million contract. The privately financed (PFI) developments will deliver 316 brand new apartments over three sites across the city, with a total build cost of £60 million. The planning applications for the three developments at Leads Road, Hall Road and Hawthorn Avenue were passed in September 2014 and building work will start on site early next year.
