Pattern Energy Group LP said on August 7, 2015 that it completed an approximately $205 million project financing and has begun full construction at its 122-MW Conejo Solar photovoltaic facility in Chile. Approximately 65% of Conejo power plant's output will be delivered to Antofagasta Minerals affiliate Minera Los Pelambres under a 22-year power purchase agreement. The project will connect to the Sistema Interconectado Central transmission system and is located on public lands owned by the government of Chile, under a long-term concession. The project is expected to be complete in summer 2016.
Pattern Development Completes $205 Million Construction Financing on 122 MW Conejo Solar Project in Chile

Pattern Energy Group LP announced the completion of approximately $205 million in project financing and the start of full construction on its Conejo Solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in Chile. The 122 megawatt (MW) Conejo Solar PV power project is being constructed approximately 30 kilometers east of Taltal in Chile's Atacama Desert. Construction of the project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2016. Conejo Solar has a 22-year power purchase agreement with Minera Los Pelambres, an affiliate of Antofagasta Minerals, for approximately 65% of the project's output over the term of the agreement. The project will connect to the Sistema Interconectado Central (SIC) transmission system and is located on public lands owned by the government of Chile, under a long-term concession.
Pattern Energy Group LP Announces Commencement of its Meikle Wind Power Project Located in British Columbia

Pattern Energy Group LP announced the completion of $393 million in financing of its 180 megawatt (MW) Meikle Wind power project located in British Columbia, approximately 33 km north of Tumbler Ridge. Meikle Wind, which is expected to commence commercial operation in late 2016, with the capacity to generate clean energy for up to 54,000 homes in the province. The Meikle Wind project is utilizing 61 GE wind turbines. The project has a 25-year power purchase agreement with BC Hydro. The Meikle Wind project will employ approximately 275 skilled workers on-site at the peak of construction activity and create up to nine permanent positions once operational, in addition to the use of local subcontractors. The Meikle Wind project was thoughtfully designed and planned, incorporating input from First Nations, the Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd communities, and the provincial government. The project area is a location that was significantly impacted by pine beetle kill and previous forestry activity. Meikle Wind received its Environmental Assessment Certificate in June 2014.
