Kilowatt Financial and Clean Power Finance are planning to merge to create Elevate Power. Elevate Power will provide a full suite of financing products for the solar and energy efficiency markets. The company's power purchase agreements, leases and loans will help consumers and businesses from Boston to Honolul manage their energy bills. More than 50,000 existing customers will save money using renewable energy technologies and home improvement financial services provided by Elevate Power. The company will have more than $1.6 billion in project and loan financing under management. Elevate Power will be one of the providers of third-party residential solar financing and loans in the U.S. The company will also facilitate commercial solar financing through Hawaii's Green Energy Market Securitization program. Clean Power Finance Opens Houston Office; Announces Executive Appointments

Clean Power Finance is expanding its residential solar financing business with a new office in Houston, Texas. CPF selected Houston because it is a global energy, finance, and technology leader with great universities like Rice. Additionally, Houston’s central location helps CPF better serve its customers from Boston to Honolulu. The company plans to hire at least 100 Houston employees initially for its operations and software development teams. Steve Olszewski, CPF’s senior vice president of operations, will lead the Houston business.
CPF has also filled several new roles to support its growth trajectory. Debasis Rath, who previously led the home equity business at Discover, will join CPF’s core financing team, and Joe Steenbergen, formerly at RGS Energy and Syndicated Solar, will lead CPF’s fulfillment program.
