Segulah Advisor AB is interested in acquiring more newspapers, and is eyeing possible geographical expansion, primarily in freesheets says Joachim Berner, Chairman of the board of 31 Mitt i, one of the assignments of Segulah Advisor acquired in the Stockholm area in 2014. Berner says there are interesting newspapers for sale, and discussions are mainly about price. He emphasizes that Segulah is not interested in acquiring Svenska Dagbladet Annons AB, reported Dagens Industri.
Bonnier Reportedly Not Interested In Acquiring Svenska Dagbladet.

Bonnier AB is rumoured to have turned down an opportunity to acquire Svenska Dagbladet Annons AB. According to newspaper sources, discussions last autumn stranded as Bonnier could not agree with Schibsted on a suitable price. Gunilla Herlitz at Bonnier News says Bonnier has today no interest at all in acquiring Svenska. One of the reasons Bonnier rejected a deal was the uncertain economic future for Svenska, where Bonnier wanted Schibsted to pay Bonnier for taking control of Svenska while Schibsted wanted Bonnier to pay to acquire the business.

SvD reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2014.
