Randall K. Rowe Joins as New Global Chairman of the Urban Land Institute

Randall K. Rowe, Chairman of Green Courte Partners, LLC has been named the new Global Chairman of the Urban Land Institute. Rowe, a longtime ULI member, ULI Trustee and ULI Foundation Governor, will serve a two-year term that ends June 30, 2017. As ULI Global Chairman, Rowe will focus on three areas: strengthening ULI's capacity for knowledge sharing throughout all of its member-to-member networks; ensuring that ULI's core programs have a steady source of funding; and growing the organization globally, all with the overarching goal of reaffirming ULI as the most trusted authority worldwide on creating communities that are highly livable, economically prosperous and environmentally sustainable.

Urban Land Institute Announces Board Appointments

Urban Land Institute announced appointments of new members to the ULI Board of Directors and ULI Operating Committee, and new ULI Trustees, all of whom started serving their terms July 1, 2015. The ULI Board of Directors oversees the development of ULI's business strategy and business plan to guide the advancement of ULI's mission, which is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. The ULI Operating Committee is responsible for implementing the business strategy and plan as determined by the Board of Directors, and the Trustees provide input and guidance on ULI's areas of focus that define the Institute's overall program of work. The broad representation of ULI leaders from around the world who are involved in all aspects of the real estate and land use industries reflects the global reach and interdisciplinary nature of the Institute.
