Camfil AB Key Developments

Camfil Announces Executive Changes

Camfil announced the promotion of Allen Oakes to manager of its Alabama sales branch.  Oakes, who over the past four years has helped to build the Alabama branch into one of the company’s best-performing locations, will now officially assume responsibility for its overall operation. The role is not quite a new one for Oakes, who had undertaken the position unofficially – with great success – upon the promotion of Greg Herman, the previous branch manager, to Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager.  Together, Herman and Oakes spurred significant sales increases in Alabama – with a rise of 32% recorded in just their first year together. In conjunction with Oakes's promotion, the company has also added Jamie Golden as the company's new Territory Sales Manager for southern Alabama.

Camfil Group Announces Appointment of Per Carlsson as New Chief Financial Officer

Camfil Group announced the appointment of Per Carlsson as new Chief Financial Officer. Per Carlsson, who officially joins the Group on May 11, 2015, has extensive international experience from sales, manufacturing and corporate functions. During his professional career, he has had finance roles at Electrolux in Sweden, Belgium and Hungary, including the position of CFO for the company’s Small Appliances Sector. After Electrolux, he became CFO for Dometic, a Swedish-based refrigeration products group with sales of SEK 8.8 billion, 6,700 employees and 50 production sites. Prior to joining the company, Per Carlsson worked most recently as interim advisor to Accent Equity Partners. Per Carlsson succeeds Johan Ryrberg, CFO, who has held many senior positions at the company over the past 20 years and played an important role for the company's success as a key architect of the company's growth strategy.
