Ecclesiastical has announced the appointment of Sarah Willoughby as the new art and private client director within its UKGI business. Sarah joined Ecclesiastical on 5th December and will take the lead in this successful and growing area of the business reporting to Adrian Saunders, UKGI Commercial Director. Sarah comes to Ecclesiastical with deep knowledge and valuable expertise in the Art and Private Client market. She joins the business from Oak Underwriting Plc where she has held leadership roles for the last 16 years most recently in the role of Deputy Managing Director & Head of Operations.

Ecclesiastical has appointed David Moore as Group Development director effective from 5th December. He comes to Ecclesiastical from Generali in Milan where he was Global head of Group Strategy. Prior to this role, he was director of Group Strategy and Transformation at Direct Line Group and his broad, international career includes senior roles with McKinsey, Bain and Company and Christie's International. Moore's experience in the design and execution of strategy, performance improvement and change initiatives in the financial services and other sectors has been garnered over a 25 year period. Reporting to Group chief executive, Mark Hews, he will be responsible for managing the programme of work to deliver Ecclesiastical's corporate strategy to 2020 and beyond. He will play a crucial role in contributing to the company's mission to be the most trusted, ethical, specialist financial services Group, and donating £100 million to charity by 2020.
