RMP and Ecclesiastical Launch Insurance Product for College Sector

RMP's broker networks will distribute a new insurance and risk management offering for further education colleges. Partnering with Ecclesiastical, the product is designed to be flexible and provide budgetary certainty with a rate guarantee agreement offered for three years. It will also have low claims rebates and bespoke cover alongside a combined risk management survey and buildings valuation service, with the latter reducing the risk of further education colleges being underinsured.

Ecclesiastical Insurance Group Appoints Edward Creasy as Non-Executive Director

Ecclesiastical Insurance Group has appointed Edward Creasy as a non-executive director, subject to regulatory approval. He will also sit on the board of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office. It is intended that Creasy becomes chairman of the group, subject to regulatory approval, when its current chairman, Will Samuel, retires before the Group's next annual general meeting. Creasy has extensive experience in the insurance sector as both a broker and an underwriter. He is currently chairman of insurance brokers Lycetts, one of the Ecclesiastical Group of companies, and is the non-executive chairman of Charles Taylor and a director of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust. He is also a director of WR Berkley Insurance (Europe) and WR Berkley Syndicate Management. Previously, he was chairman and CEO of the Kiln Group.
