Ford Motor Co. Ltd. won a multiple awardees contract award from Hertfordshire County Council for the purchase of vehicles. The Agreement will be used by The Council and may also be utilised by all Local Authorities located in the United Kingdom. The Council has created a Vehicle Purchase Framework across a number of lots for the following vehicles: Lot 1: Passenger cars including Petrol, Diesel, Hybrid, Electric, LPG (liquid petroleum gas), Hydrogen and Bio fuels; Lot 2: Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) up to 7,5 t including Diesel, Petrol, Hybrid, Electric, LPG, Hydrogen, and Bio fuels. The lot also covers vehicles purchased with body conversions including but not limited to tippers, drop-side, Luton, flat, curtain-side, recycling, aerial platform, jetter, cranes, street lighting and any other body type an authority may require, including all vehicle racking; Lot 3: Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCVs) from 7,5 t to 12,5 t including Diesel, Petrol, Hybrid, Electric, LPG, Hydrogen, and Bio fuels. The lot also includes vehicles purchased with body conversions including but not limited to tippers, drop-side, Luton, flat, curtain-side, recycling, aerial platform, jetter, cranes, street lighting and any other body type an authority may require, including all vehicle racking; Lot 4: Pedestrian and compact sweepers up to 12,5 t; Lot 5: Plant and equipment, for both agricultural and construction purposes up to 18 t to include but not limited to dumpers, loaders, rubber ducks, dozers, standard long and high reach excavators, mini diggers, skid steers, excavators, backhoe loaders, tractors, gang mowers, rotavators and all types of fork lifts.

Ford Motor Co. Ltd. won a GBP 12 million (excluding VAT) multiple awardees contract award from East Ayrshire Council for the supply and delivery of a range of vehicles, plant and equipment (Light Goods Vehicles) (Contract Award Notice No.: 2015/S 052-090474; Lot No.: 1). The Council enter into a Framework Agreement with a range of suppliers for the supply and delivery of a range of vehicles, including cars, light and heavy vehicles and a range of specialist vehicles, including refuse collection and street cleansing.
Ford of Britain Announces Board Changes

Nick Themistocleous has been appointed director, fleet operations of Ford of Britain, succeeding Phil Hollins, who has held the role since 2012. The appointment is effective from February 1, 2015. Nick joined Ford Credit as a graduate trainee in 1986. He held a variety of sales, marketing and financial roles in Ford of Britain including UK fleet marketing manager before moving to Germany in 2003 as the European fleet and leasing director. Nick returned to the UK in 2006 as the operations manager in aftersales before taking up his current role as sales district manager.
