QinetiQ, Partnered by Cranfield University, NSC and XPI Simulation Win GBP 3.6 Million Contract from Defence Science and Technology Laboratory

QinetiQ, partnered by Cranfield University, NSC and XPI Simulation, has won a GBP 3.6 million contract from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory to monitor and demonstrate developments in gaming, mobile devices and other commercially-available technologies. The Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Emerging Technologies Evaluation and Exploitation (CETEE) programme will identify, evaluate, integrate and exploit novel technologies to enhance the cost-effectiveness of the training and simulation opportunities received by Britain's Armed Forces.

Defence Science and Technology Laboratory and Cranfield University Sign Strategic Relationship Charter

Cranfield University and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) have signed a Strategic Relationship Charter. The agreement sets out the principles for a closer working relationship, enhancing the benefits delivered by public investment in defence knowledge, innovation and technology. The charter will support greater cross-working of the two organizations and enhance the sharing of information, knowledge and expertise as well as facilities for research, consultancy, test evaluation and educational purposes.
