China Everbright Group and Friedmann Pacific Investment Denies Sale Of Stakes In China Aircraft Leasing Group

China Everbright (Group) Co., Ltd. and Friedmann Pacific Investment Group denies sale of stakes in China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (SEHK:1848). The two biggest shareholders in China Aircraft Leasing Group Holding Ltd (CALC) said on Juen 22, 2015, they had no plans to cut their stake in the firm after it revealed it was unable to contact its Founder and Chief Executive, Poon Ho Man, who resigned without explanation. China Everbright Group and Hong Kong-based Friedmann Pacific Investment Group also told Reuters they were committed to their investment. Between them they hold just over 67% of China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited. A China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited company spokesperson declined to give any further comment and Friedmann Pacific said it has no information on Poon Ho Man's whereabouts other than what China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited had disclosed. The Hong Kong stock exchange and the Securities and Futures Commission also declined to comment on China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited.
