Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. Key Developments
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. Announces the Launch of EVX-Link
Sep 8 15
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. announced the launch of the new eVerge EVX-Link that allows users to talk from country to country without the need for additional dedicated equipment. The Internet Protocol (IP) Connect technology uses a standard Ethernet connection for ease of use for worldwide communications. Vertex Standard's eVerge EVX-Link can connect digital mobile radios (DMR) faster and be installed anywhere from a high-rise building or a large campus, to geographically separate sites. This allows users, such as private security companies, to communicate with other users in multiple locations across town or even across other parts of the world. No repeater is required, and the customer simply needs an Ethernet connection and a power supply to begin operating. The eVerge EVX-Link can also be used with existing systems and offers expandable coverage, which can be linked to as many as 32 sites for greater geographic reach. The eVerge EVX-Link works with both onsite and repeater-based systems, or a mix of both, resulting in zero disruption to customers and an affordable solution for a variety of users. Vertex Standard is also providing online training and dedicated customer support so that customers can install the system without the assistance of an engineer. The new system is available and in stock now in North America.
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. Announces Unique eVerge EVX-Link
Mar 31 15
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. announced its eVerge EVX-Link system that enables radios to communicate in virtually every situation possible. The company has also released an enhanced version of its eVerge digital series of mobile and portable radios. The products were introduced at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) earlier March 2015. The small and lightweight EVX-Link system offers the latest evolution in digital technology, providing a solution with greater speed, agility and affordability. The EVX-Link can connect digital mobile radios (DMR) faster and be installed anywhere from a high-rise building or on a large campus to geographically separate sites. The product is also more cost-effective than traditional systems using Internet Protocol connection and works with any digital mobile radio platform. Users also don't need to replace any existing infrastructure or employ a repeater. In addition to the EVX-Link, Vertex Standard has updated the EVX-530 and EVX-5300/5400 Series of eVerge digital portable and mobile radios. Improvements include an enhanced display, better message control and privacy, enriched coverage and connection monitoring. Further enhancements include direct mode, transmit interrupt, site roaming, 256 bit advanced encryption standard and dual-tone multi-frequency for digital modes. This functionality will be available both in an updated higher-resolution dot matrix display version and on all legacy models. All portable radios are submersible and weatherproof.
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. Enhances VX-260 Radios Series with Greater Features
Mar 31 15
Vertex Standard LMR, Inc. announced an enhanced version of its VX-260 analog series of radios, providing a greater array of features for the maximum value. The series is targeted for customers across a broad range of areas including security, factories, hotels and building management. The updated series was introduced at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) earlier this month. The VX-260 Analog Series VHF/UHF portable radios will include enhanced audio output, expanded interoperability, programmable emergency alert and a universal battery system. The inclusion of the universal battery system or "UNI" allows users to consolidate down to one battery and charging platform for their Vertex Standard fleets. New models include the VX-261, with 16 channels and two custom-programmable keys, and the VX-264, with 128 channels, six custom-programmable keys and embedded voice inversion encryption. Vertex Standard also released a wide array of accessories to complement the complete portfolio.
