For the quarter, the company reported, revenue of MYR 235,844,000, operating loss of MYR 15,595,000, loss before tax of MYR 17,621,000, loss after tax of MYR 16,645,000, loss attributable to equity holders of the company of MYR 16,608,000, net cash flow generated from operating activities of MYR 3,317,000, purchase of property, plant and equipment of MYR 12,006,000, compared to revenue of MYR 256,720,000, operating loss of MYR 3,495,000, loss before tax of MYR 5,341,000, loss after tax of MYR 7,963,000, loss attributable to equity holders of the company of MYR 7,576,000, net cash flow generated from operating activities of MYR 63,922,000, purchase of property, plant and equipment of MYR 5,495,000, for the same period a year ago. Loss per share attributable to equity holders of the company was 1.0 sen against 0.5 sen a year ago. During the period, the Group has recognized a net gain of MYR 9,007,000 in its statement of comprehensive income mainly due to settlement of the forward foreign currency contracts in the current period.

Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad announced retirement Mr. Heng Heyok Chiang @ Heng Hock Cheng as a Independent and non-executive Director (INED) at the conclusion of the AGM held on 19 April 2017 and not seek re-election thereat under Article 115 of the Articles of Association of the Company.
