npower Appoints Stephen Rowe as Marketing Director

npower has appointed a new marketing director, Stephen Rowe, who will join the company in January. Stephen has joined npower to support the company wide focus on improving customer experience. Before starting in his new role in January, Stephen has spent much of December immersing himself in the company visiting sites and people across the country, including several days at npower's customer service HQ in Rainton.

Npower to Close Biomass Plant at Tilbury

Npower will close a newly converted 750-megawatt biomass plant at Tilbury by the end of next week after scrapping a plan to keep it running longer. It had an option to extend the operating time if it was granted an environmental permit.
