Along with developing synergy across internal UWNYC teams, Hunte will maintain and expand opportunities for strategic partners from the corporate, foundation, nonprofit, and government sectors to make high-impact and mutually beneficial contributions to UWNYC's strategic plan and work. Prior to joining the UWNYC Executive Leadership Team, Suzette served as a consulting Senior Advisor to the President, where she made significant contributions to the development of UWNYC initiatives, including the innovative ReadNYC program targeting grade-level reading.

United Way of New York City Appoints Oscar Raposo Jr. as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial and Operations Officer

United Way of New York City (UWNYC) announced the appointment of Oscar Raposo Jr. as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO). Reporting to Sheena Wright, President and CEO of UWNYC, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Raposo follows John McKegney who, as planned, served as EVP & CFOO for the organization for the past year. Raposo brings to UWNYC decades of experience in global finance and operations across industrial, consumer and financial services—in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, Oscar served as Managing Director of Finance for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). Prior to joining DTCC, Raposo had a distinguished 20-year career at General Electric, where he held various senior global finance and operational roles, including divisional CFO for GE's Components Business.

Sue Davies Joins United Way of New York City as SVP & Chief Development Officer

United Way of New York City announced the appointment of Sue Davies as SVP & Chief Development Officer. Reporting to Sheena Wright, President & Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Davies will serve a key role in UWNYC's goal of increasing individual and major gifts as well as corporate, foundation and government engagement.
