Samsung Gulf Electronics Launches New Galaxy A Series in Middle East

Samsung Gulf Electronics, launched Galaxy A series in Dubai. The unveiling of the new devices comes after a catastrophic year which saw the showdown of South Korean consumer electronics giant's phone, Samsung Galaxy S7 that cost the manufacturer a loss of several billions of dollars. It also comes amid rumours that the Smartphone maker will launch Galaxy Note 8 phablet in the second half of this year to undo the sizeable damages its predecessor caused to the brand's reputation after several reports emerged that devices were overheating and bursting into flames. Samsung Electronics Gulf uncovered three new phones in A series: Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 in Dubai at its recently opened Samsung Experience Store in Media City. The mid-range phones feature a metal frame and 3D curved glass back with Samsung's new design style. The smartphones also come with IP68 water and dust resistance which would allow them to withstand damages even at 1.5 meter deep in water for at least 30 minutes. Galaxy A7 and A5 that boasts a 5.7inch and 5.2inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen, 3600mAh and 3000mAh batteries respectively, also feature 16MP front and rear cameras. To make snapping selfie pictures easier the phonemaker has introduced a floating camera button. The new phones will hit the UAE stores on Thursday and will be available in the region's other markets in from January 20, 2017. The all three Galaxy A series will be available in the UAE in Black Sky, Gold Sand and Blue Mist colours and will be retailed at AED1,149 for the Galaxy A3, AED1,449 for A5 and AED1,749 for A7.

Samsung Gulf Electronics Launches New Curved Gaming Monitor, the CFG70

Samsung Gulf Electronics has launched its new curved gaming monitor, the CFG70, designed specifically for professional gamers. It includes enhanced picture quality and player-friendly features. The display was first introduced at the Gamescom 2016 and IFA 2016 conferences. The CFG70 monitor (24- and 27-inch models) is the curved gaming monitor to feature quantum dot technology. This amplifies previously-hidden gaming details in both light and dark settings. The monitor also employs an environmentally-safe, cadmium-free design. It is available at Samsung brand shops and leading retailers for a price of AED 1,499 (24-inch) and AED 1,999 (27-inch). Samsung has equipped the CFG70 with a range of user-friendly gaming user experience designs that drive more convenient and easily accessible game management. The CFG70 includes a dedicated gaming interface with an intuitive settings dashboard to better allow gamers to modify and personalise their gameplay settings. Each CFG70 monitor also offers a series of hotkeys on the front and back of the display for users to easily adjust gameplay settings. Each CFG70 monitor undergoes rigorous pre-shipment factory calibration. This process optimises various settings, including contrast ratios, black gamma levels for enhanced brightness and white balance levels for temperature management.

Samsung Gulf Electronics Opens Store at Qatar Duty Free

Samsung Gulf Electronics that its newly opened store at Qatar Duty Free helped increase mobile phones sales around 30%. The Korean smartphone manufacturer has partnered with Qatar Duty Free to open its first-ever Samsung Experience Store within a Middle-Eastern International airport. Located at Hamad International Airport the new Samsung Experience Store brings transformative technologies to passengers passing through Qatar's airport facility.
