Telegraph Media Group Announces Executive Changes

Telegraph Media Group has hired Malcolm Coles, the executive responsible for Trinity Mirror's BuzzFeed-style site UsVsThlm, as its new director of digital media. Coles will replace Ben Clissitt, who is leaving Telegraph Media Group at the end of the year to join Bloomberg. Malcolm is joining from Mirror Online where he is digital director and will have responsibility for all TMG's digital media activity. Robert Winnett, a Telegraph deputy editor, takes charge of online and print news for the title. Allister Heath, another deputy editor, will oversee business coverage - including personal finance - technology and property. Ian MacGregor takes on additional responsibility as director, leisure, in charge of travel, arts and entertainment, cars, along with online channels dedicated to food and drink, gardening, interiors, health and wellbeing and puzzles. Kate Day, director of digital content, is promoted to director of future media.
