Poczta Polska Signs an Agreement with Ruch Press Distribution Company

Poczta Polska has signed an agreement with Ruch press distribution company to have its shipments delivered to Ruch's retail outposts. The deal will give PP's customers access to nearly 7,000 parcel reception points across the country, as well as to the biggest 'click & collect' networks in Poland. The contract with Ruch is just part of PP's effort to improve its e-commerce reach.

Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and Ministry of Administration and Digitization Signs Agreement with Poczta Polska for Digitization of the State Administration Services

On 31 August, 2016, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and the Ministry of Administration and Digitisation signed an agreement with Poczta Polska concerning cooperation on digitization of the state administration services. The effects of the cooperation will include quicker settlement of administrative procedures and more effective circulation of documents in state institutions. Poczta Polska will integrate its electronic postal service platform Envelo with the IT systems of state administration institutions. A crucial role in the electronic information exchange system will be played by the so-called Registered Electronic Letters, which have the same legal status as registered letters. Poczta Polska will be able to support public administration in procedures, such as issuing excerpts from the National Court Register and collecting applications for ID cards.

Poczta Polska Reportedly To Sell Bank Pocztowy To Bank Ochrony Srodowiska

Poczta Polska Spolka Akcyjna is considering merging Bank Pocztowy S.A. with Bank Ochrony Srodowiska S.A. (WSE:BOS). Poczta Polska reportedly in talks regarding the merger, but the final decision will belong to politics.
