Emerson announced its top-rated Sensi™ Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat is now eligible for demand response programs managed by EnergyHub. EnergyHub Appoints Benjamin Hertz-Shargel as Vice President of Analytics

EnergyHub announced the appointment of Dr. Benjamin Hertz-Shargel as Vice President of Analytics. Hertz-Shargel will serve as company's lead data scientist, responsible for analytics within its Mercury software platform. Mercury already provides company's utility and OEM customers with analytics, including detailed load forecasting for utilities and advanced energy efficiency algorithms for service providers. Hertz-Shargel will focus on developing next generation analytics which will provide company's customers with deeper insight into energy usage from the over 15 billion data points collected by EnergyHub every month. Most recently, Hertz-Shargel was VP Technology at ThinkEco, where he managed the company’s Software and Data team and participated in the formulation of its technology strategy.
