Daewoo Engineering Construction has clinched a crucial USD 82 million contract to build a highway in Ethiopia. Under the inked agreement, the Seoul-based firm will be responsible of designing and building a 37-kilometer, four-lane highway that links Meki to Zeway, two regions in the African Federal Democratic Republic. Daewoo's main schemes in Korea include Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant, Nurimaru, Busan-Geoje Fixed Link, and overseas it's engaged in the Swani Hospital Project, Menara Telekom Tower, among others.
