MND Announces Earnings Results for the Full Year of 2013

MND announced earnings results for the full year of 2013. For the period, the company saw its revenues from sales of own products and services fall by 5% to CZK 3.2 billion. Profit fell by 6% to CZK 1.61 billion. The decrease in profit caused by the mildly falling price of oil on global markets.

Moravske Naftove Doly Leases Gas Storage Facility Building in Southern Moravia to Gazprom

Moravske Naftove Doly (MND) has leased the gas storage facility building in southern Moravia to Gazprom for CZK 7.5 billion. Gazprom will acquire 90% of capacity of the storage facility for 15 years. The facility, located in Damborice near Hodonin, will launch operation in 2016. MND signed the contract on the construction of the gas facility with company Gazprom Germania in March. The tank with a capacity of 448 million cubic metres. Now MND has also agreed with Gazprom on the lease of the facility.
