Brookfield Australia Property Trust and Hawaiian Investments Pty Ltd have appointed JLL to sell Carillon City Shopping Centre in Perth for an asking price of AUD 160 million to AUD 170 million. The property consists of two sites, Hawaiian Investments owned 680-692 Hay Street on 3091 square metre, and 674-678 Hay Street on 2633 square metre, owned by Brookfield Australia Property Trust. A Brookfield-Hawaiian statement confirmed the sale. "Both organisations retain properties in the Perth CBD and believe that the CBD retail landscape will continue to advance," the statement said.

Brookfield Australia Property Trust announced consolidated earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue was AUD 41.8 million against AUD 49.6 million a year ago. Profit before tax was AUD 165.8 million compared to AUD 87 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to unitholders of the company was AUD 151.7 million against AUD 72.4 million a year ago. Net cash inflow from operating activities was AUD 76.5 million compared to AUD 78.5 million a year ago.
