Serbia will be ready to acquire a stake in Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske A.D. Trebinje, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said. The same holds true for Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Niksic, Vucic said in a video file posted on the website of state-run broadcaster RTS.

Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske announced consolidated earnings and operating results for the year 2014. For the year, the company’s consolidated net profit plummeted to BAM 9.1 million in 2014 from BAM 53.1 million a year earlier. Consolidated total revenues fell 5% to BAM 668 million in 2014 when electricity output fell 10.5% to 5,694 GWh.
For the year, the three hydro power plants operated by company generated a combined 2,522 GWh of electricity last year, down 13.7% on 2013 when hydrological conditions were more favorable. The output of the utility's two thermal power stations dropped 2.2% to 3,134 GWh in 2014.
Elektroprivreda Not To Be Privatized

There will be no privatization of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske A.D. Trebinje, entity's Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic claims. “Every time when you talk to foreign creditors or international organizations, including the EU, they always stress that privatization of telecom enterprises has not been conducted in the Federation of BiH. On the other side, they always say they wish to see privatization of Elektroprivreda RS We clearly said that privatization of this company is not optional," Cvijanovic said in Banja Luka. she said that the Council of Ministers of BiH should address the entity government on the occasion of the “reform agenda" since that is exclusively in their jurisdiction. Cvijanovic reminded that recently the RS Government made certain interventions regarding the proposed text of that documents and it is expected that it will be included in the agenda.
