With a 2.25 inch catheter, Blood Control Valve, and Patented AccuTip(TM) Nitinol Guidewire, the AccuCath(R) 2.25" BC is designed as a new option for patients with challenged peripheral vasculature. The AccuCath(R) 2.25" Blood Control Intravascular Catheter integrates a coiled tip Nitinol guidewire, blood control valve, and needlestick safety features with a 2.25 inch power injectable catheter for use with or without Ultrasound and Vein Finder devices on hard-stick, bariatric, and patients with challenged peripheral vasculature in both venous and arterial applications. Its design is intended to increase first attempt success, reduce complication rates, extend dwell times, increase patient satisfaction, and lower overall costs to the provider. The AccuCath(R) 2.25" BC is currently available in the US.
