As of December 10, 2002, Morgan Stanley High Income Advantage Trust II was acquired by Morgan Stanley High Yield Securities Inc. It operated as a diversified, closed-end management investment company. It seeks for income and capital appreciation by investing primarily in lower-rated fixed income securities. In July 2002, the Board of Trustees of the Trust and Morgan Stanley High Yield Securities, Inc., an open-end investment company, approved a plan of reorganization whereby the Trust would be merged into High Yield. Pursuant to merger, the assets of the Trust would be combined with the assets of High Yield.
