ICBC Leasing Enters Agreement with COMAC to Purchase Jets

ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) Leasing has entered into an agreement with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) for purchasing 30 of the nation's first domestically produced regional jets -- ARJ21-700. The ARJ21, short for Advanced Regional Jet for the 21st Century, is a type of regional airliner designed and manufactured by COMAC. The ARJ21-700 was officially certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China at the end of last year.
Aircraft Corp of China Ltd Secures Order of 20 C919-Aircrafts from Huaxia Financial Leasing

Aircraft Corp. of China Ltd, or COMAC, announced that it had acquired 20 C919 aircraft orders from Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. As of to date, a total of 18 companies have ordered the C919 aircraft and the total orders amounted to 450 units. The C919 passenger airliner is expected to finish its final assembly in 2015, and will able to deliver the aircrafts in 2016.

Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China has signed an agreement to sell 30 C919 single-aisle commercial aircrafts to CMB Financial Leasing. Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China signed the agreement at the Zhuhai Airshow and orders for the C919 have risen to 430, most of which were ordered by home customers. The C919 is under research and development, and the company expects to compete with Boeing and Airbus with the aircraft. The first test flight of the C919 has been delayed to 2015, which leaves more time for Boeing and Airbus to improve the 737 Max and the A320neo.
