The move is necessary to accommodate the company’s 50% growth in employee headcount over the past ten months. This rapid expansion supports the newly launched PerfectServe Synchrony, the unified communications and collaboration solution that allows clinicians to immediately identify and reach the most appropriate patient care team member so they can address a patient’s urgent needs quickly and provide the high quality of care. The new office will feature a unique new space with an open floor concept to encourage team collaboration focusing on Agile methodologies, ergonomic sit/stand desks, collaboration rooms and a micro-market offering fresh, healthy food options for employees. Located at 10024 Investment Drive, this Knoxville, Tenn. office is double the size of its previous headquarters, and is located just 15 minutes from downtown.

PerfectServe announced the appointment of Scott McFarland as its chief operating officer (COO). McFarland brings a wealth of experience to the company. McFarland joins the PerfectServe team to assist in the company’s ongoing growth and expansion, deepen its executive ranks and increase the scope of its support for a growing number of healthcare clients nationwide. In this newly-created position, McFarland will report to company president and CEO Terry Edwards, and will be responsible for company’s client services, technical operations, R&D, sales and marketing functions.

PerfectServe reported new hires for two newly created strategic positions. According to a release from the company, as the new vice president of client experience, Teresa 'Terry' Hayes, MSN, CPNP, CNOR will work hand-in-hand with hospital executives to help tailor the PerfectServe clinical communications platform to best meet their needs. Most recently, Hayes served as the vice president of professional services at Picis, where she developed business transformation consulting services and managed client relationships with a diverse set of healthcare organizations. Michelle McCleerey, PhD, MA, MEd, MBA, RN will serve as the new vice president of product marketing at the company, where she will provide strategic guidance on the evolving healthcare landscape and develop solutions to meet the needs and challenges of healthcare providers. Most recently, she led the office of strategy at TeleTracking Technologies, developed and implemented strategic plans based on market insights, and improved user experience in technology products.
