Vdopia Launches Innovative Programmatic Tools for Outstream

Vdopia announced the launch of innovative new programmatic platform tools. Following the successful launch of Chocolate, the first mobile video only programmatic platform, Vdopia has extended its product suite with its 'Chocolate Preferred' for advertisers & 'Chocolate Supply Side Platform' for publishers. 'Chocolate Preferred' enables preferred access to brand-safe premium mobile video inventory as verified by Fraudlogix. The platform showcases inventory by verified audience segments via partnerships with several data and measurement providers including Blue Kai, Nielsen. Chocolate Preferred enables programmatic deals via Deal ID or directly for mobile advertisers on a guaranteed and non-guaranteed basis and supports newer Mobile Outstream & Native video formats as well as In-stream Pre-roll ad units. Also announced is the 'Chocolate Supply Side Platform' or SSP for premium mobile publishers. The Chocolate SSP solves a need for publishers of how to manage new mobile video formats such as outstream and in-stream video for mobile web and app inventory. The supply platform enables access to preferred demand & multiple other demand sources & programmatic partners.

Vdopia Names Martin Price as Senior Vice President of Product

Vdopia announced the addition of Martin Price as Senior Vice President of Product, further filling out its team of adtech industry veterans. Price, 37, will be based in the company's Silicon Valley headquarters and will focus on accelerating Vdopia's innovation in the mobile video space for brand advertisers, agencies and publishers alike. Price joins Vdopia from OpenX where he was Vice President Product Management, responsible for mobile, native & video across ad server, exchange & SSP enterprise products. Prior to OpenX, Price co-founded Productsy. Other senior product roles in his career have included: GM & VP Product Management at Geodelic Systems, Director, Product Management at CityGrid, and Senior Manager, Product Management at Yahoo!.

John Lambertus Joins Vdopia as Vice President Revenue Operations & Client Services

Vdopia announced that John Lambertus has joined the company as Vice President, Revenue Operations & Client Services, a newly-created position in Vdopia's Fremont HQ. Mr. Lambertus, a former Mediabrands executive, will focus on the growth of Chocolate, Vdopia's newly launched global programmatic buying and selling platform built exclusively for mobile video advertising. Specifically, Mr. Lambertus will be responsible for client deliverables (reporting, trafficking, analytics, billing, optimization and account management) for the U.S. and EU Regions. He will work closely with sales/product/engineering on aligning client goals with product development and act as the guiding force for Vdopia's move into the programmatic environment. Mr. Lambertus joins Vdopia from Cadreon, the programmatic media division of the global ad agency IPG Mediabrands (SF), where he was VP, Business Planning & Analysis for a year developing business plans, financial models and operational guidelines for new product and business lines and providing guidance for international office launches.
