China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited Announces Expansion of TD-LTE/LTE FDD Hybrid Network Trial

On 17 November 2014, China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited was notified by its parent company, China United Network Communications Group (Unicom Group), that, on the basis that Unicom Group has obtained the approval to conduct TD-LTE/LTE FDD hybrid network trial in a total of 40 cities on 27 June 2014 and 28 August 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China has approved Unicom Group to expand the TD-LTE/LTE FDD hybrid network trial to 41 cities. The additional city is Jiaxing. China United Network Communications Corporation Limited will continue to be responsible for the hybrid network trial.
