CNA Names Mark Geis as Executive Vice President of the Center for Naval Analyses

CNA President and CEO Katherine McGrady, Ph.D., announced the appointment of Mark Geis to serve as Executive Vice President of CNA's Center for Naval Analyses. CNA's Center for Naval Analyses is the Federally Funded Research and Development Center for the Navy and Marine Corps. CNA also operates the Institute for Public Research which provides research and analysis services to non-Department of Defense clients. Geis, previously Vice President and Director of CNA's Operations Evaluation Group (OEG) and of CNA's Marine Corps Program, has more than 27 years' experience at CNA. He began his career in 1987, serving as a Research Analyst in CNA's Support Planning and Management Division. In the 1990s he served as a CNA Field Representative and in 1997 was named Director of OEG's Marine Corps Operations Team. From 2000-2005 Geis was a research team leader and served as Director of the Naval Operations & Support Team in CNA's Integrated Support and Operations Division. In 2005 he was named Vice President and Director of CNA's Marine Corps Program, and since 2010 has also served as Vice President and Director of OEG.
