CNA Corporation announced that it has promoted James "Chip" Coldren, Ph.D., to the position of managing director of its Safety and Security division's Justice Programs Group, and has hired Laura Kunard, Ph.D., as a member of the group's senior management team. Coldren has been associated with CNA Corporation's Safety and Security division since 2006. In 2014, he took a leave of absence from Governors State University in Illinois to work full time with CNA on various justice system improvement projects. Kunard joins CNA after a successful career in Illinois in the development and delivery of training and technical assistance in community policing, social justice, police innovation, and procedural justice. She has worked at the forefront of police training and technical assistance for more than a decade, and brings both academic and practical perspectives to her work with police agencies across the country.

CNA Corporation Announces Executive Changes

CNA Corporation announced that Dr. Katherine A.W. McGrady, current Chief Operating Officer, will be the Acting President of the Center for Naval Analyses, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Robert Murray. Dr. Paul E. Speer, the current President, will depart CNA Corporation to be the Deputy Director of Operations, Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
