Vox Media Partners With Operative to Unify Ad Sales Across All Brands

Vox Media announced a new partnership with Operative Media, Inc. The collaboration will bring all eight Vox media properties on to the Operative One software platform, which will enable a unified sales strategy as well as bring increased scale to their sales and operations groups. The Operative Product Catalog will allow Vox sales immediate access to pre-approved inventory and pricing, which will fuel continued revenue growth while reducing the cost associated with the sale.

NBCUniversal May Invest In Buzzfeed And Vox Media

NBCUniversal Media, LLC is close to a deal to invest $250 million in Buzzfeed, Inc., in a transaction that will value it at around $1.5 billion, according to a report. News webside Re/code, citing unnamed sources, said NBCUniversal has a "handshake" agreement with BuzzFeed. NBCUniversal also is negotiating to invest in Vox Media, Inc. in a deal that would value Vox at $850 million. The report added that there is a possibility that negotiations could fall apart, but that both investments were close to being consummated.
