Stanford Graduate School of Business Appoints Darius Teter as New Executive Director of Stanford Seed

Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies, known as Stanford Seed, named Darius Teter as its new executive director. Stanford Seed is led by the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) and receives university-wide support. In this role, Teter will lead Seed's growth and expansion, building upon the success it has achieved since its inception in 2011. Teter previously served as vice president of global programs at Oxfam America, where he oversaw the humanitarian emergency response team and regional development programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America, as well as research, learning and evaluation. His experience spans the field of international development, from responding to humanitarian emergencies to financing public infrastructure mega-projects, including leadership positions with the Asian Development Bank and the Millennium Challenge Corp., an independent U.S. government foreign aid agency.

Stanford Graduate School of Business Announces Executive Changes

Stanford Graduate School of Business named Kirsten Moss as the new Assistant Dean and Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid. In this role, Moss will oversee and manage Stanford GSB’s Admissions and Financial Aid team and map out a vision for reaching, recruiting and selecting top MBA candidates. Moss previously served in several roles within the Stanford GSB MBA Admissions team, including Director of MBA Admissions and Associate Director of Evaluation. During her tenure, Moss managed the evaluation, marketing and operations teams and developed a new approach to assessing leadership capability. Prior to joining Stanford GSB, Moss worked at Harvard Business School as Managing Director, MBA Admissions and Financial Aid. Moss has also held positions in corporate consulting and finance. Moss’ appointment will begin June 1, 2017 and she will report to Feinberg. Moss succeeds Derrick Bolton, who served as Assistant Dean for MBA Admissions and Financial Aid for 15 years before accepting a new position in September 2016 as Dean of Admissions for Stanford’s Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program.
