St. Bonaventure University Announces Board Changes

Dr. Andrew Roth named as interim president of St. Bonaventure University, and will remain in that post for 2016-17 academic year. Roth will succeed Sr. Margaret Carney, who announced in January her intention to step down July 31 after 12 years as president.

After almost 20 years of service to the university, the last 12 as its president, St. Bonaventure University President Sr. Margaret Carney, O.S.F., announced her decision to step down from the position on July 31, 2016.

St. Bonaventure University Announces Board Appointments

Robert Daugherty of Chatham, N.J., a retired partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, was elected chair of St. Bonaventure University's Board of Trustees June 12. Fellow Board officers also elected to one-year terms were vice chair Daniel Collins of Painted Post, N.Y.; vice chair Kathleen (Pekar) Colucci of Middlebury, Conn.; and secretary Laurie Branch of Olean. Daugherty, a member of the university's Class of 1977, has served on the Board since 2007. He served as vice chair of the Board for the past three years under Raymond Dee. During the past academic year, Daugherty was a member of the Board's Development and Ad Hoc Strategic Alliance committees. Collins, a member of the university's Class of 1973, is vice president of Corporate Communications at Corning Inc. He served as a trustee at his alma mater from 1998 to 2002 and rejoined the board in 2006. Colucci was chair of the Trusteeship Committee and a member of the Building & Grounds, Enrollment & Marketing, and Ad Hoc Strategic Alliance committees this past year. She previously served on the university's National Alumni Association Board.
