Sedgwick LLP announced the addition of Paula S. Crow, as a partner, to the Real Estate & Finance practice in its San Francisco office. Joining from Lubin Olson & Niewiadomski LLP, Crow focuses on commercial real estate transactions and represents major publicly held companies in leasing and purchase and sales matters, including the tenant on the second larger commercial lease in San Francisco last year. Crow's work for Silicon Valley clients extends throughout the U.S. and Canada and to major international business centers. Her understanding of transactional real estate law and California's complex regulatory environment positions her as a key resource for clients, building upon the firm's already vast knowledge base.

Sedgwick LLP Announces Addition of Two Partners

Sedgwick LLP announced the additions of partner Robert D. Towey and associate Aurora F. Parrilla to its Commercial Litigation Practice. Joining from Lowenstein Sandler LLP, Towey and Parrilla will work out of the firm's Newark, N.J. office. Towey brings nearly 30 years of experience advising clients in the manufacturing and service provider industries on matters including consumer fraud class actions, contract disputes, public contract bidding protests, Telephone Consumer Protection Act cases, creditors' rights disputes, toxic tort actions, product liability cases and franchisee/distributor disputes He has handled matters in all phases of litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels, and tried several jury and non-jury cases. An active member of the food, beverage and manufactured goods industrial communities, Towey is a member of, and frequent committee speaker at, the New Jersey Food Counsel and involved in the Grocery Manufacturers Association. He is a member of the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity Newark and previously participated in a military legal assistance program coordinated in part by the New Jersey State Bar Association. Parrilla focuses her practice on complex commercial and business litigation in state, federal and appellate courts and alternative dispute resolution tribunals. She has represented clients in a variety of matters including breach of contract, fraud, consumer fraud, toxic torts, public contract bidding protests, employment discrimination, antitrust and intellectual property cases. Active in the community, she is also a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Newark.
