The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has named Sam Schulhofer-Wohl its senior vice president and director of research effective Nov. 1, 2013. Schulhofer-Wohl succeeds Kei-Mu Yi, who has been named special policy advisor to the president. Schulhofer-Wohl has been a member of the Minneapolis Feds research department since 2010, serving most recently as a senior research economist and advisor. Prior to joining the Bank, he was an assistant professor in the department of economics at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
