Ahmad Farroukh, the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Etisalat Company (SASE:7020) has informed Bloomberg that the wireless provider has received a number of offers for its tower portfolio in Saudi Arabia. All three of Saudi Arabia's wireless providers are currently looking at offloading their tower assets, with Mobile Telecommunications Company K.S.C.P. (KWSE:ZAIN) expecting to raise up to $2 billion from the sale of its roughly 10,000 sites. Digitalbridge Holdings Reportedly Bids For Etihad Etisalat’s Portfolio Of Wireless Towers In Saudi Arabia

DigitalBridge Holdings, Inc. is reportedly among the leading bidders for Etihad Etisalat Company (SASE:7020)’s portfolio of wireless towers in Saudi Arabia, a sale that could fetch as much as $2 billion, according to people with knowledge of the matter. Etihad Etisalat and Digital Bridge haven’t reached a final agreement on the sale, the people said. Digital Bridge is also among bidders for the tower network owned by Mobile Telecommunications Company K.S.C.P. (KWSE:ZAIN), the people said. A spokesman for Etihad Etisalat Company said that the company is assessing different options and that no decision has been made. Representatives for Mobile Telecommunications and Digital Bridge didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
