StoneRiver Inc. announced that Stream Policy was released to the market as the final piece to its Stream Suite of fully integrated property and casualty core processing systems with multiple clients already in various Stream Policy implementation stages. Stream Policy, a part of Stream Suite, streamlines policy administration from quoting through policy issuance and endorsement. With this latest addition, the Stream Suite now includes Stream Policy, Stream Billing, Stream Claims, Stream Customer and Stream Distribution. Each can be purchased and deployed as a stand-alone component or as part of an integrated suite of core processing systems. Like other Stream components, Stream Policy utilizes the company's advanced service-oriented Insurance Integration Platform (IIP) to provide easier business process automation, integration, scalability, and a rich user interface framework.

StoneRiver, Inc. announced that Gleaner Life Insurance Society is in production with StoneRiver's Life Portraits Illustrations system. From kick off to production, the implementation time was seven months. Using Life Portraits, Gleaner Life has advanced the capabilities and efficiency of their agents and more readily supports their unique marketing approach for their portfolio of term products. This product launch enables Gleaner Life agents to perform illustrations either via the web or in a disconnected mode. Life Portraits depicts the Gleaner Life Succession Term product, providing illustration coverage for multiple business partners with one premium payment. Additionally, Life Portraits manages the Gleaner Life Duration Term product, providing illustrations with up to four concurrent term certificates of varying length and decreasing premiums. Upon selection, Gleaner's top priority was to migrate their new Term Portfolio onto Life Portraits web software solution, which is now complete. They also moved existing Gleaner Annuity products into the StoneRiver environment. Gleaner will continue to transition their newly developed Whole Life to StoneRiver's Life Portraits for new business processing, as well as implement and integrate LifeApply e-applications to Life Portraits.
