Sunlink Corporation Key Developments

SunLink Corporation Engages Silicon Valley Bank to Provide New Line of Credit and Other Financial Services

SunLink Corporation has engaged Silicon Valley Bank to provide a new line of credit and other financial services in support of the company’s continued expansion. Well known for successfully backing high-growth companies for the past 30 years, Silicon Valley Bank will provide invaluable support to SunLink as the company explores new opportunities to advance universal solar adoption.

Sunlink Corporation Announces Management Changes

Sunlink Corporation named Michael Maulick as a New President & Chief Executive Officer to lead the company in its next stage of growth. He has been the CEO of three international technology companies, had a 20 plus year career at IBM and has served on Private and Public Boards, most notably as Independent Director for the IPO of Rackable Systems. He continued as chairman of the Compensation Committee and member of the Audit and Governance Committees through the success of the secondary offering. Prior to joining the company, he served as Managing Director of Maulick Capital. His initial exposure to solar came as a board member for XE Solar. In May 2014, the company's CEO Christopher Tilley brought Maulick on board as COO to provide additional talent, vision and leadership experience as the company scaled to the next level. Since that time, Michael and Chris have worked closely together to steer the company through two quarters of expansion activity. Effective January 2015, Tilley has announced he will be stepping down and identified Maulick as his successor. Tilley will move into a consulting role and remain an active advisor for the company while pursuing several personal projects.

Sunlink Corporation Launches Precision-Modular RMS

Sunlink Corporation has launched Precision-Modular RMS, the newest addition to its quality engineered, aluminum Precision RMS solar racking family. In addition to superior layout flexibility, Precision-Modular offers the commercial PV industry more than 30% cost savings over SunLink's legacy systems. The products that make up the Precision RMS line advance distributed generation by making solar viable for a much larger range of rooftops _ even in locations where it wasn't previously feasible. The system is assembled, laid out and installed module-by-module to maximize layout flexibility and facilitate last minute on-roof changes. The modular approach also significantly shortens design/engineering, shipping and installation timelines. Other design features include compact deflectors that enable significantly more project density than other roof mount systems, as well as full connectivity north/south and east/west to better distribute loads, and no reliance on the module frame as a structural element. SunLink also provides customers with a universal jig that auto-aligns and auto-spaces all components to increase installation throughput and improve overall quality. Precision-Modular is currently available for 60 and 72-cell modules and 10 degree tilt.
