Zonzia Media Selects Kaltura OTT TV for Cutting Edge On-Demand Services

Zonzia Media Inc. announced that it has chosen Kaltura’s next-generation, end-to-end pay OTT TV solution to power its new VOD services. Kaltura OTT TV is the most advanced and comprehensive pay OTT solution on the market. It includes advanced monetization, social and personalization features; innovative tools for improving user acquisition and retention; and multi-screen, multi-device support. With Kaltura OTT TV’s monetization tools, Zonzia will be able to simultaneously deploy its unique mixture of business models providing for maximum flexibility. These tools will support server-side and native ad insertion technology for VOD and live content, in-app purchases, a range of payment options and discounts for introducing friends. Kaltura’s DRM support will provide full content protection, while Kaltura’s monetization tools will be customized to Zonzia’s unique content distribution model and will be designed to deliver a seamless experience to Zonzia’s consumers across all devices. By allowing each viewer in the household to set up an individual profile, Kaltura OTT TV will deliver each viewer a personalized experience, which will increase Zonzia’s subscriber engagement. Kaltura announced Kaltura OTT Now, the most comprehensive end-to-end ‘OTT platform in a box’. Drawing on Kaltura’s widely deployed OTT TV platform, with modularity that enables unprecedented levels of customization and integration, OTT Now provides content owners, broadcasters and service providers a cost-effective entry point that incorporates out-of-the-box all the functionality required to launch a compelling OTT services in the shortest time to market - as little as two months. At IBC, Kaltura will demonstrate how OTT Now offers all the tools necessary to quickly and cost-effectively launch an OTT service – from a robust backend to slick personalized mobile and web applications that can be easily branded and launched. The solution allows customers to leverage a variety of business models - subscriptions, transaction-based (including in-app purchasing), ad-funded and freemium. In addition, OTT Now customers benefit from Kaltura's OTT roadmap, adding new functionality to their OTT services down the line. OTT Now is based on Kaltura’s end-to-end OTT TV solution.
