Parques Reunidos Sale Plan Reportedly Freezes

Parques Reunidos S.A. may not be sold. Six sources close to the matter said that the private equity owners of Parques Reunidos have put on ice plans to sell the company valued the business at about €2 billion. Owned by Arle Capital Partners Limited, offers came short of the owner's price expectations, the sources said. Arle Capital said that the company had not been put up for sale. According to the news report, Ben Foster, a spokesperson for Arle Capital stated, “No bank has been mandated to sell the business, there has been no sale process and nor will there be one for the foreseeable future.” One of the sources said that Arle had now decided to put off the sale until 2016 at least.

Arle Capital Reportedly Attracts Interest For Its Sale Of Parques Reunidos

Arle Capital Partners Limited is attracting interest for its sale of Parques Reunidos S.A. from other private-equity firms, according to people familiar with the matter. Advent International Corporation, Cinven Limited and Permira Advisers Ltd. are among potential bidders for Parques Reunidos, the people said, asking not to be identified because the process is private. Arle, which is working with Morgan Stanley on the potential sale, may fetch as much as €2 billion for the business, they said. Representatives for Arle, Advent, Cinven Limited, Permira and Morgan Stanley declined to comment, Bloomberg reported.

Arle Capital Reportedly Looking To Sell Parques Reunidos

Arle Capital Partners Limited is looking for a buyer for Parques Reunidos S.A. aiming for an offer that values the company at some €2 billion, reported Reuters citing sources privy to the matter. No advisors have been appointed yet but the process could launch in the first half of 2015.
