Oxford Centre Up For Sale
Aug 18 15
Oxford Centre, the third-largest office building in downtown Pittsburgh and the longtime cornerstone office tower of Oxford Development Company's real estate portfolio, is up for sale. In a letter sent to tenants of the building, Steve Guy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oxford confirmed that Oxford has hired HFF, Inc. (NYSE:HF), itself a tenant in the building, to pursue a potential sale and to “explore this valuation verification.” Guy added, “We emphasize that this is an exploration phase and is consistent with industry wide best past practices. As a family-owned company, this building has been our home for over 30 years and many of you have been a part of One Oxford Centre for a very long time and we cherish your loyalty.” Oxford is exploring the market for One Oxford Centre at a time when there’s been strong investor interest in a Pittsburgh market in which there’s been few major properties for sale.
