International Finance Corporation (IFC) is reportedly in talks to acquire Vix Logística S.A. The deal could raise as much as $90 million.
Vix May Revive Listing Plans

Vix Logística S.A. is planning to get listed in 2015. On April 23, 2014, Chief Financial Officer, Andre Gaia said that the company may resume its plans for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) if it completes successfully the talks with a new shareholder. The company decided to shelve its IPO plans in 2014 since it expects the year to be tough due to the upcoming FIFA World Cup and the elections in the country. According to the news report, Vix declined to announce the IPO's value or the stake it will offer to the new shareholder. After Vix postponed its IPO plans, it started talks with the World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC), on BRL 200 million financing. According to Vix's President, Kaumer Chieppe, the company intends to use the funds for expansion.
