Perkins Restaurant & Bakery Announces Newest Franchisee, Restaurant Commitment for Winter Springs, Florida

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery announced its newest franchisee, K&R Invesco, LLC. has signed a one restaurant commitment agreement for a Perkins to be located at 701 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs, Florida. The new Perkins will occupy an end cap of a new strip shopping center and is slated to open early 2016. With a 4,500 square foot floor plan plus additional patio space, the new Perkins Restaurant will seat approximately 200 guests and will feature Perkins legendary menu including breakfast items such as omelettes and buttermilk pancakes that will be available all day, a full line of lunch and dinner offerings and Perkins freshly prepared bakery products. A seniors' as well as a kids' menu will also be offered. The restaurant staff will include approximately 70 employees.

Dave Power, a former software company executive and now a consultant and business strategist is the new CEO and president of Perkins. Power is the founder and current president of Power Strategy Inc., and has worked for companies such as Sun Microsystems, Novera Software and Fidelity Ventures. He replaces Steven Rothstein, who announced last July that he would resign in December. Power will oversee the company's five divisions.
