Pelmorex Media, Inc. announced that effective June 1, 2015 leadership in Ad Sales is restructured as follows: Robert Crawford assumes the position of VP Monetization, Planning & Development. Robert joined PMI 10 years ago and has held several leadership roles within the Company since that time. In this new role he will be responsible to coordinate the planning and development and support for the sales activities in each of market specific business units. Michael Viner assumes the newly created position of General Manager, Ad Sales, Pelmorex Canada. Michael has been with Pelmorex since 2012 in various sales management roles. Pelmorex Media Inc. announced that its weather application is now available on several Connected TV models including Samsung, LG and Panasonic among others. Offering similar features as its popular mobile and web apps, The Weather Network Connected TV app provides users with on-demand access to detailed and personalized weather forecasts and content. Leveraging past success with iTV apps, strong industry relationships and consumer insights, The Weather Network team created a simple and efficient user interface rich in graphics and designed the app for a 10-foot TV viewing experience. The Weather Network Connected TV app allows for rapid discovery of content and is easy to use. With a click of the television remote, users have access to key weather data such as current conditions, hourly or 14-day forecasts and maps for their location to easily track storms. The experience can be personalized by adding up to 10 cities. Active weather alerts and warnings appear prominently in the app to provide users with quick access to the details.
