Grocery Manufacturers Association announced the appointment of Kelsey Johnson as director of state affairs. Grocery Manufacturers Association announced that it has named Mandy N. Hagan as vice president of state affairs and grassroots. She joins from Walgreen Co., where she was director of government relations for health and wellness. Prior to Walgreen, Hagan spent four years at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association as national director of state government relations. In her new role at Grocery Manufacturers Association, Hagan will be responsible for managing all state and local policy issues and advocacy activities on behalf of the food, beverage and consumer products industry. She will report to Louis Finkel, Grocery Manufacturers Association’s executive vice president for government affairs.
