RenoNorden AS reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of NOK 436.2 million against NOK 414.8 million a year ago, an increase of 5.1 %. EBITDA of NOK 46.1 million down from NOK 62.5 million. One-off costs for recruitment and severance of NOK 3.7 million taken in the quarter. Operating profit was NOK 10.0 million against NOK 32.9 million a year ago. Profit before tax was NOK 3.6 million against NOK 24.0 million a year ago. Profit for the period was NOK 3.9 million against NOK 18.8 million a year ago. Net income was NOK 3.9 million or NOK 0.14 per share against NOK 18.8 million or NOK 0.69 per share a year ago. RenoNorden continued to grow revenue during first quarter of 2016, but experienced disappointing profit levels. This is partly explained by the timing of Easter, one-off costs taken in the quarter. Cash flow from operations was NOK 51.5 million for the quarter against NOK 11.642 million a year ago. Net cash increase was NOK 21.4 million this quarter. On 31 March 2016, net interest bearing debt amounted to NOK 1,044 million against NOK 1,043 million a year ago. Purchase of equipment was NOK 7.755 million against NOK 5.629 million a year ago.
