Hydra-Electric Company Announces Introduction of its New Disc-Con Pressure Switch
Jun 16 15
Hydra-Electric Company announced the introduction of its new Disc-Con™ pressure switch. The company made the announcement from the Paris Air Show, where it is exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand C-249. The innovative patent pending design utilizes a disc contact spring to perform two key functions: Sensing: the disc spring snaps into action when the pressure actuation point is reached; and Switching: simultaneously the contact within the disc spring snaps and makes contact with an electrical interface sending an electrical signal. It is this second function that has been traditionally served by the micro switch.
Hydra-Electric Announces to Introduce New High Temperature Pressure Sensors at Paris Air Show Offering Superior Performance and Reliability
Jun 12 15
Hydra-Electric Company announced that it will be introducing a new line of transducers which can now withstand temperatures up to 225 degrees C for pressure sensing and 300 degrees C for temperature sensing. The Company will be showcasing this and other solutions at the 2015 Paris Air Show, where it is exhibiting in Hall 5, Stand C-249. Hydra-Electric's patent pending solution for high temperature environments, which incorporates thin film technology, offers significant advantages over competitor offerings which utilize silicon on insulator with oil-filled assembly. Hydra-Electric is currently accepting RFIs for its high temperature sensors, which are targeting full EMI spectrum, as well as full lightning spectrum. Like Hydra-Electric's current offering of transducer products, the newest additions will provide for linear accuracy over the entire spectrum, and also allow the ability to tailor the sensor to any operating parameter.
